Editorial policy

Where the data comes from

• Card fees, limits, rewards and availability come from the issuer’s own website, help center or terms.
• Exchange fees and withdrawal methods come from the exchange’s own fee pages.
• Tax rules come from government or tax authority sources.
• Third-party review sites are never used as a source.
• Each value stores its source link and the date it was checked. Those dates appear on the tools as “Verified” badges.
• When a value is not published, it is shown as “Not disclosed”. It is never estimated.

Live rates

Crypto prices come from Kraken, with Coinbase as a fallback. Spot conversions and P2P prices come from Binance. Exchange rates come from ExchangeRate-API. Prices refresh every 15 minutes and exchange rates every hour.

If a source fails, the tools keep the last good value and mark it as older than usual. A value that moves more than 20% between updates is rejected and logged for review.

Freshness

Stored values are rechecked on a rolling basis. A value older than 60 days is flagged for review, and one older than 120 days blocks a site release until it is rechecked. Tax rules are checked at the start of every tax year.

Corrections

Every card safety report has a correction form. A disputed factor is marked “Under review” on the report within 7 days. The outcome, including any change to the data, is logged. You can also email support@cryptocardtools.com about anything on the site.

Affiliate independence

Affiliate relationships do not change scores, rankings or calculator results. Cards and routes are ranked only by the calculations described on each tool page. The affiliate disclosure lists how affiliate links are marked.
