Fees
MetaMask Card charges 0.5% to convert or top up and 1% on spending in a foreign currency. Binance Card charges 0.9% and 2%.
The conversion fee applies to every dollar you load, so MetaMask Card's lower rate matters most for everyday spending in your home currency. On $1,000 of spending, the gap is $4.00.
ATM withdrawals: MetaMask Card 2%; Binance Card $1.50 after 2 free a month.
A virtual card costs nothing with MetaMask Card and nothing with Binance Card. A physical card costs an undisclosed fee and nothing. Neither card has an annual fee on its base tier.
Cashback and rewards
MetaMask Card cashback: 1% to 3%. Binance Card cashback: 1.5% to 3%.
MetaMask Card tiers: Virtual (free): 1%; Metal ($199 a year): 3%.
Binance Card tiers: Tier 1: 1.5%; Tier 2: 2% from R$500 of monthly spend; Tier 3: 3%, capped at R$500 a month from R$5,000 of monthly spend.
MetaMask Card: Paid in mUSD. The Metal tier also removes the 1% cross-border fee and adds $1,200 a month of free ATM withdrawals, which this model does not reflect.
Binance Card: Only USDT spending counts toward cashback. The tier reached in a month applies to all of that month's eligible spending. Cashback is credited in BRL.
